The newly created laboratory, in the workshops of the Technical Faculty, focuses primarily on the application of additive technologies for the production of prototypes. Sigma R19 3D printers are installed here, which enable so-called multi-material printing using the FDM method. There are two sizes of printing area to choose from, so it is possible to print even larger prototypes. The laboratory also has a photopolymer printer, which works on the principle of continuous curing of resin using UV light. There is also a powerful laser plotter for precise 2D cutting of non-metallic sheet materials up to a thickness of 6 mm, possibly up to 60 mm - refers to foam materials. A CNC machining center, a table lathe and a stand drill were installed for metal machining. A line for the production of 3D printing filament was newly installed. In the prototype laboratory, the development and production of application agricultural drones in accordance with the requirements of precision agriculture takes place simultaneously.
